Don Ramón biography has brought up the interest of many researchers and specialized critic. He was born at Vilanova de Arousa, southern Arousa estuary, on October 28th 1866. Being used to mystify himself, sometimes Valle-Inclán declares being native of A Pobra do Caramiñal, northen Arousa estuary, sometimes he would have been born aboard a vessel on the way between both harbors.
Don Ramón origin can be traced through family property. They were heirs of noble ascent, landlords and countrymen income owners at Salnés and Barbanza countryside. But their wealth had however declined.
